Mission & Vision

The mission and vision of The International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP) is to promote and advance the discipline of Pharmacometrics and broaden its impact. ISoP welcomes and encourages membership from the international pharmacometrics community. Please join many of your colleagues and participate in this emerging society.

ISoP Membership Benefits

ISoP Membership Types

Full Members

Full Members are individuals who have an interest in pharmacometrics and in furthering the mission and objectives of the Society. Each Full Member shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of the Society, including one (1) vote with respect to matters submitted to Members of the Society for a vote. In addition, a Full Member may serve as an Officer, Trustee, or Chair of a Standing Committee. 

ISoP offers discounted membership fees for members who meet the above criteria AND whose primary residence is in a country classified by the World Bank as Low/Lower-Middle/Upper-Middle economy. An LIC/LMIC/UMIC member is entitled to one vote and may serve on the Board of Trustees or as a chair of  an ISoP Committee or Special Interest Group (SIG). Members wishing to receive the discounted rate will be required to provide proof of residency within the membership application. 

Membership fees: Membership lasts through December 31 of each calendar year. Rates for full members can be found here. For new or returning members, please click here to apply for membership. 

Trainee Members

Trainee Members are individuals who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctoral degree, or a postdoctoral fellowship in or closely related to the field of pharmacometrics. Each Trainee Member shall have the same voting rights as Full Members; however, Trainee Members may not serve as an ISoP Officer, Trustee, or Chair of a Standing Committee.  Candidates for this class of membership must provide verification of their trainee status annually when submitting their membership application.

ISoP offers two trainee membership rates based on their institution type: 1) Trainee: Industry Post-Doc and 2) Trainee: Student or Academic Post-Doc. In addition, ISoP offers deeper discounts for Trainee members who meet the above criteria AND whose primary residence is in a country classified by the World Bank as Low/Lower-Middle/Upper-Middle economy.
